3D Printing Materials

Our current printing services use FDM thermoplastics and SLA resins. Select material options in the quote workflow or ask for a project review. SLS, MJF and metal SLM are coming soon and are not currently offered; the nylon powder entries below are educational references.

Selective Laser Sintering

Nylon PA12 (SLS — coming soon)

Industry-standard engineering thermoplastic. Excellent mechanical properties, chemical resistance, and dimensional accuracy. Ideal for functional prototypes and end-use parts.

Best for: Functional prototypes, snap-fits, living hinges, production runs

  • •Tensile strength: 48 MPa
  • •Heat resistance up to 185°C
  • •No support structures needed
  • •Excellent surface finish
Stereolithography

Standard Resin (SLA)

Ultra-high resolution photopolymer resin. Captures extremely fine details with smooth surface finish. Perfect for visual prototypes, presentation models, and master patterns.

Best for: Display models, jewellery masters, dental models, architectural models

  • •Layer resolution: 25–100 µm
  • •Smooth surface finish
  • •High dimensional accuracy
  • •Paintable and post-processable
Stereolithography

ABS-Like Resin (SLA)

Tough resin that mimics the properties of injection-moulded ABS. Good balance of strength, flexibility, and detail resolution.

Best for: Enclosures, housings, functional prototypes requiring toughness

  • •Impact resistant
  • •Good flexural strength
  • •Fine detail capability
  • •Suitable for functional testing
Fused Deposition Modelling

PLA / PETG (FDM)

Cost-effective thermoplastics for large-format printing. PLA offers ease of use and biodegradability. PETG provides better chemical resistance and durability.

Best for: Large-scale sculptures, exhibition props, concept models, jigs & fixtures

  • •Large build volume available
  • •Cost-effective for big parts
  • •Good mechanical properties
  • •Wide colour selection
Fused Deposition Modelling

TPU Flexible (FDM)

Flexible thermoplastic polyurethane for parts requiring elasticity. Shore hardness ranges from 85A to 95A depending on formulation.

Best for: Gaskets, seals, wearables, protective covers, grips

  • •Flexible and elastic
  • •Abrasion resistant
  • •Good chemical resistance
  • •Vibration dampening
Selective Laser Sintering

Nylon PA11 (SLS — coming soon)

Bio-based nylon with higher impact resistance and elongation at break than PA12. Ideal for parts requiring ductility and fatigue resistance.

Best for: Automotive components, sports equipment, snap-fit assemblies

  • •High elongation at break: 40%
  • •Higher impact resistance than PA12
  • •Chemical resistant
  • •Bio-based material
