What stage are you at?

Tell us the stage — it changes everything we recommend

Concept (looks-like)

Form and proportion for pitches, user feedback, and photography. The fastest way to put the idea on the table.

Functional (works-like)

Tests fit, assembly, and mechanism in PETG, nylon, or resin — before you invest in tooling.

Pre-production

Final-form prototypes finished to look manufactured — for tooling validation and marketing imagery. Then small runs, 5–500 units, no mould.

Why prototype with us

Built to de-risk your product, not just print it

Printing a prototype that can't be manufactured is an expensive dead end. Before we print, we flag wall thickness, undercuts, assembly gaps, and material mismatches — the problems that cost ten times more after tooling.

Express 48-hour service for small functional parts

SLA resin accuracy to ±0.1mm for tight mechanical fits

Manufacturability review flags issues before tooling

Concept, functional, and pre-production stages supported

Small production runs for market and investor samples

NDA on every project; files never reused

FAQ

Prototyping — your questions

What file formats do you accept for prototyping?

STEP, STL, and native CAD are ideal. If you have only a sketch or a reference product, our design team builds the 3D file from RM 300 before prototyping.

Which material should I prototype in?

Resin (SLA) for visual and high-detail parts; PETG or nylon for functional and mechanical testing; ASA or PC for heat resistance; TPU for flexible parts. Describe the function and we will recommend.

How fast can you make a prototype in Malaysia?

Standard prototype turnaround is 3 to 5 business days. Express 48-hour service is available for smaller parts under 20cm that need only basic post-processing.

How much does a prototype cost in Malaysia?

A palm-sized functional prototype in PETG typically runs RM 150–400. A finished presentation model with painting runs RM 500–2,000. Complex multi-part assemblies are quoted individually after file review.

Do you review the design before printing?

Yes. Before printing we flag wall-thickness issues, undercuts, assembly gaps, and material mismatches — problems that would cost far more if discovered after tooling. We flag them; we do not redesign your product without sign-off.

Can you take my prototype into production?

We produce small production runs (typically 5–500 units) without tooling — like the public-transport payment housings we batch-produce that are in daily service today. Past break-even, we advise on the transition to moulding and can refer suitable local manufacturers.
